New scenic photos from my travels in Manhattan, the first being an art exhibit I was commissioned to photograph in Grand Central Terminal. It was filled with wondrous sculptures and art pieces. A Picasso piece was also on display and I tried to get a shot, but security was unbelievable. The next is one of a great restaurant I visited with my dear mother in Tri-Be-Ca while walking around, enjoying the Summer. The third is from an abandoned cemetery in Silver Lake, Staten Island. I discovered that it was a cemetery mainly to honor war veterans, marines, sailors and other important figures from the area, such as police chiefs and officers. The fourth is a shot of Miss Sixty in the Flatiron District. The clothing is unbelievable, as I went on a day where there was a good sale, so I scored a few pairs of jeans. The last shot is one of the sky from my apartment window. I set the camera on a very long shutter, approximately 10 seconds, and that was the result. More shots coming soon.

New & Old Portfolio Works

Just trying to display some of my portraiture, a lot more coming soon. Being a freelance photographer is hard, especially when there are hundreds more out there with a similar claim. Sometimes, I get a bit upset though, because I sincerely put so much dedication and work into my photographs and essays, and then people who take tids and bits from others get recognition and at times, even more in terms of payment.

All in all though, I know who I am, I know what my photographs are worth, and that's all that pretty much matters to me.

Balenciaga Resort 2011

So this year, Nicolas Ghesquière unveiled 29 gorgeous looks including metallic frocks and peony colored maxi-shirt bohemian dresses, along with some patterned pastel bathing suits and mini-dresses. This is definitely a new turn for the designer, as we get to see how something can be interpreted in so many ways. Some of the pieces can be considered futuristic, to say the least, displaying a grand amount of metallic & iridescent fabrics as well as silver linings. Many of his looks this season scream Bohemian, like something straight out of Long Island in the 60s'.Ghesquière referred to his pieces as "techno boheme", in the aspect that many of his pieces, including the wonderful 60s' style bolero vests were modernized with the use of metallic fabric. The neon make-up is a big plus here, as it accentuates the lightness of the fabric colors, and truly makes them pop. New Works & Progress

Here are two new designs i've worked on. Done quickly, making more to hand out as nice postcards for promotion. Hopefully printing goes well. I've been going nuts just focusing on making Bittenzebra something really big. I'm doing photography, journalism, graphic and interior design, canvas art, jewelry, t-shirts, custom shoes and both photo and video editing.

Late Night

So I had a pretty good day. Did a few things around the home, then went into Manhattan. Went to Chelsea to take a few photos, then to the Lower East Side to pick up my friend Mariah from work. Made my way to Bowery to grab a bite to eat, then dropped her off at the train station. From there on I went Downtown to South Ferry to go home. Met exactly 27 drunk college grads and decided to go to a place on Water St. to party with them. Don't really remember much after that.
